Hollywood Reporter for iPhone App Reviews

This app hasnt been updated since 2014, which is always a bad sign. Either remove the app from the App Store or update it. When I opened the app today, I got a pop up message from APPLE saying the app is so out of date that if I open it my phone will slow to halt and hog up excessive memory. Im about to delete the app, but wanted this review in before I did. How hard can it be for you to update this app. Its now actually dangerous for people to have this app on their phone. DONT DOWNLOAD!!

After reading a story and going back to Home page it spins for about 30 seconds and then you can scroll again. Also, not easily found in App Store. Besides that good app.

Im not sure how the design changed but I remember that it was way easier to navigate. Pretty sure there was no back button at the bottom of the page and whenever you scrolled back up it would show some sort of menu. Terrible new design.

I dont mind people making money, but, come on, to tell us that an update is simply "Minor improvements and enhancements" and use that description as a Trojan horse to get us to install a new version full of intrusive animated ads is out-and-out lying. Shame on you.

Its 2016. Update the app or remove it from the App Store.

Crashes upon opening every time :-(

I love this app so very much. But after downloading the new update it wont open. All it does is crash. Im left "App-less" on Oscar day. Please fix quickly!

You need to DELETE the old version before updating the new version.

This app has more crashes than L.A. freeway at rush hour.

Love the app. The only problem Im having is that the photo section crashes when I try to read those articles, which is a bummer. Other than that, great app.

When I try to look at anything in the Photos section, it crashes the app.

This app worked really well until yesterday. Now it crashes every time I try to open it. Restarting my phone didnt help.

Crashes on startup. Wont open. Tried re-installing but same thing. Does not work anymore.

I dont know what went wrong with this app...but I cant even get it to open anymore. It crashes every time. Tried deleting and restoring but no luck.

App crashes instantly... Deleting and reinstalling had no effect... Garbage!!!

The THR app had been working fine since I installed it months ago. However, in the past 3 days, the app does not work at all. It crashes upon opening. I have deleted and reinstalled the app, but nothing works. Please fix it. I have posted this problem on Twitter and emailed the magazine and have received no reply from anyone at THR.

Ive used this app almost daily for month. It was a five-star app until yesterday. Now whenever I even try to open it, the app crashes. Deleting and re-installing doesnt help. Not to sound pompous, but its Oscar season, and THRs app isnt working. Terrible timing. So Prometheus, please fix this app.

Used to visit this app daily, now 3 days ago it crashes upon opening. I have reinstalled 3 times - no luck. Wrote tech support, nothing. Too bad. Dont bother installing, it doesnt work.

This app has good content but no I cant open it! I deleted and downloaded it again but it still crashes!
